		<description>Thanks for your comments about John&#039;s comments on actually reading the (Hebrew) Bible. I take a slightly different slant on the title. You benefit from the Hebrew Bible if you can *actually read it* in Hebrew, i.e. understand it in Hebrew and read it, as opposed to basically only being able to read an English translation and dipping in to the occasional Hebrew word or grammar point, but not being able to read the Tanakh in Hebrew.</description>
